Culture of Chinese red revolutionary music is politically oriented and full of characteristics of a period time.It is feasible to integrate it into ideological and political education in colleges and universities,which can be traced to the characteristics of education,matches innovation of educational methods and the unity of knowledge and practice of educational values.This practice will help guide college students to deeper history and to build cor-rect values and to realize self-improvement.Based on the current situation of the integration that implement red mu-sic culture into the ideological and political work of the Communist Youth League in colleges and universities,the paper proposed measures with specific examples which include strengthening the main college students'red educa-tion awareness,enhancing teachers'understanding and comprehensive ability,actively promoting the construction of campus red culture,increasing social support and security,analyzing the core themes and messages of red music to activate ideological and political education classes.
