Improving"Tutorial System"of Agricultural and Forestry Universities to Enhance the Scientific Research Ability of Undergraduates——A Case Study on the Effects of Elevated CO2 Concentrations on Bradysia impatiens
Scientific research ability is an important teaching practice in the training of undergraduates. As the main position for cultivating talents who adapt to the modern agricultural production, agricultural and forestry uni-versities have the dual attributes of professionalism and practice.Based on the third-year undergraduates with pro-fessional knowledge, this study summarizes the scientific research training model of"tutor guidance+student ex-ploration+practical operation"by exploring the effects of high concentrations of CO2 on Bradysia impatiens as an example. We focus on topic selection, experimental design, data analysis and thesis writing, aiming to guide un-dergraduates to correct their academic attitudes, unlock scientific research skills, and establish a realistic and prag-matic value orientation under the guidance of"tutorial system".Around the scientific research ability training of undergraduates,it is suggested to build a scientific research and teaching platform integrating universities, teachers and undergraduates, and strive to shape the university campus that carries the dream of scientific research,culti-vate college teachers who are good at preaching and solving confusion, and cultivate undergraduate students majo-ring in agricultural and forestry in the new era who have the courage to explore and innovate.
