In the early days after the founding of New China,the rural cadres and rural people had a tendency of ideological recession and were not active in their work after the agrarian reform.In order to solve this problem,the Communist Party of China(CPC)carried out educational activities for the rural cadres.In order to improve the effect of education,New Hunan News used Zhu Zhongli as a prototype to construct the character of"Li Sixi",a typical character of ideological regression,and used Zhu Zhongli to guide and educate rural cadres and the people on how to get rid of the drawbacks of Li Sixi.In this process,the prototype character Zhu Zhongli also continuously improved his own understanding,worked actively,and strived for progress,becoming a role model in real life.This was the first real ideological education campaign of the Communist Party of China(CPC)for peasants and rural cadres after the founding of New China,and it was also a successful educational practice that responded to the needs of the times.
