The"Flow"and"Retention"of Migrant Workers Returning to Their Hometowns for Entrepreneurship:Based on Push-Pull Theory Perspectives
Migrant workers are an important part of the entrepreneurial team returning to their hometowns and an important guarantee for rural revitalization. In the context of the rural revitalization strategy, some of the farmers who used to go out to work have become entrepreneurs who have returned to their hometowns with a certain amount of capital, technology, and resources, and have appeared in a new posture of"willingness to return to their hometowns".As a form of population mobility, the entrepreneurship of rural migrant workers returning to their hometowns also follows the push-pull principle in the theory of population mobility.Favorable national policies, relaxed entrepreneurial environment, homesickness, and the pull of nostalgia attract rural migrant workers to return home.Meanwhile insufficient and risky entrepreneurial development potential, hollowing out of the countryside and other thrusts, hinder the pace of rural migrant workers to return to their hometowns to start their own businesses. In order to promote more migrant workers to return to their hometowns to start their own businesses and improve the entrepreneurial paths of rural migrant workers,it is necessary to further enrich the sources of pulling force in rural areas on the basis of the original pulling force, and at the same time, slow down the various thrusts in rural areas,as well as endeavor to improve the overall quality and ability of entrepreneurs themselves.
