Influencing factors of effective viable bacterial count and encapsulation rate of compound fertilizers produced by different processes coated with bacterial powder
Through small-scale and industrial trials, the effects of various factors on the effective viable bacterial count and encapsulation rate of compound fertilizer produced by three processes(high tower process, spraying process, and rotary drum process)are investigated. The results show that the effects of encapsulating bacterial powder on the outer layer of compound fertilizers produced by different processes are different, the effective viable bacteria count and the encapsulation rate are shown to be rotary drum process>spraying process>high tower process; However, there are significant differences in the effective viable bacteria count and encapsulation rate between the small-scale and industrial trials under the same process, with the small-scale trial being greater than the industrial trial. The encapsulation rates of industrial trials in the rotary drum, spraying and high tower processes are 59.0%,45.3%and 36.7%,respectively.In industrial production,if the effective viable bacterial count of bacterial containing compound fertilizer reaches 20 million/g,the theoretical addition amount of 100 billion/g bacterial powder is 0.02%.According to the encapsulation rate, the actual addition amount needs to reach 0.034%in the rotary drum process,0.044%in the spraying process, and 0.055%in the high tower process, which is 1.70 times,2.20 times, and 2.75 times of the theoretical addition amount, respectively.
