Recovery and utilization of fluorine resources from extracted tail gas in WPA production
Due to the limited recovery of fluorine resources in the extraction tail gas washing system of the WPA plant, the fluorine content in the phosphogypsum and acidic water of slag yard continues to increase, which not only affects the environment but also restricts the reuse of other resources. In order to improve the recovery and utilization rate of fluorine resources in phosphoric acid production,a renovation plan, fluorine recovery process flow and process index control are introduced for the extraction tail gas washing device of a 200 kt/a phosphoric acid plant. After the renovation, for every 1 ton of P2O5 produced, the yield of fluosilicic acid has been increased by 10.6 kg.The fluorine content in the slag yard water is decreased by about 50%,achieving a unity of economic and environmental benefits.
