Phosphogypsum is a by-product produced in the production process of wet-process phosphoric acid.Due to the presence of impurities such as phosphorus,fluorine and organic matter,phosphogypsum is difficult to comprehensive utilize,and its improper treatment can cause water pollution.On the basis of analyzing the generation and characteristics of major impurities in phosphogypsum,a process for improving quality,whitening of phosphogypsum is proposed.After repulping of phosphogypsum,flotation purification is carried out to remove phosphorus,fluorine,iron,magnesium,sodium,chlorine,aluminum,organic matter,mud and other harmful impurities from phosphogypsum.The filtered filter cake is mixed with an alkaline lime water solution with a mass fraction of 0.5%and a solidifying agent to react and solidify.The purified phosphogypsum meets the standards of class I gypsum in GB/T 23456-2018 and class I general solid waste standards in GB 18599-2020.
