Analysis of comprehensive utilization and industrial development status of phosphogypsum in China in 2023
With the gradual increase in requirements for the comprehensive utilization of phosphogypsum,along with the precise introduction and implementation of related policies,China has made significant strides in the comprehensive utilization of phosphogypsum.In 2023,the production yield of phosphogypsum in China is approximately 81 million tons,with a year-on-year increase of 5.2%,the comprehensive utilization amount is 45 million tons,marking a year-on-year increase of 16.0%.The comprehensive utilization rate reaches 55.6%,with a year-on-year increase of 5.2 percentage points.However,there are also challenges such as the high pressure of phosphogypsum stockpiling,the need for further breakthroughs in comprehensive treatment processes,low added value and poor economic viability of comprehensive utilization products,and difficulties in expanding pathways for comprehensive utilization.It is recommended to overcome the difficulties faced in the comprehensive utilization of phosphogypsum by enhancing industry awareness,innovating technologies and approaches,improving policies and standards,and strengthening inter-industry collaboration.
