Energy conservation and consumption reduction measures for large-scale sulfuric acid plants
In order to improve the thermal energy utilization efficiency and reduce consumption of the 800 kt/a sulfur based sulfuric acid plant in Yunnan Phosphate Group Co.,Ltd.,a series of measures are adopted,including low-temperature thermal energy utilization,condensate water recovery,cascade power generation technology,low-level arrangement of absorption towers,replacement of fillers and use of frequency converters in circulating pump to regulate flow.The steam production per ton of acid in the plant increased by 0.5 tons,the consumption of process water decreased by 1.2 tons,and the power generation increased by 15 kW·h.
