Rapid Determination of Five Fragrances in Cosmetics by Headspace-Gas Chromatography-Ion Mobility Spectrometry
A method was proposed for the rapid determination of five fragrances,including ethyl acrylate,limonene,trans-2-heptenal,linalool and citral,in cosmetics by headspace-gas chromatography-ion mobility spectrometry.The cosmetic sample or the cosmetic sample diluted with water was taken,incubated at 80℃for 20 min,and injected into headspace.The five fragrances were determined with mobility tube linear voltage of 400 V·cm-1,mobility tube temperature of 45℃and mobility gas flow rate of 150 mL·min-1 in positive ion mode.As shown by the results,the linear range of the standard curve of the five fragrances was 0.1-5.0 mg·L-1,and detection limits(3S/N)in the range of 0.02-0.05 mg·L-1.This method was used to analyze 8 batches of cosmetics,and limonene and linalool were detected,with the detection amounts of 0.005-352 μg·g-1.Compared with the results of conventional gas chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry,the relative deviation was in the range of-8.6%-10%.
