某水井在开采时采用规格为177.8 mm×6.91 mm(外径×壁厚,下同)的J55套管代替设计要求的规格为177.8 mm×8.05 mm的J55套管进行固井,在下井过程中规格为177.8 mm×6.91 mm的J55套管发生断裂现象,采用宏观观察、化学成分分析、力学性能测试、金相检验、扫描电镜分析等方法对套管断裂原因进行分析.结果表明:断裂J55套管试样基体组织为珠光体+网状铁素体,断口附近组织存在较严重的混晶现象,且断口处的钢管外表面存在细小裂纹,在超设计使用过程中,钢管所承受的拉力和扭转力达到了钢管截面实际所能承受的极限值,同时钢管外表面局部存在的细小裂纹成为起裂源,裂纹在外力的作用下沿粗大晶粒向内表面扩展,最终导致套管断裂.
Causes of J55 casing fracture
The J55 casing with a specification of 177.8 mm×6.91 mm(outer diameter×wall thickness,the same below)was used to replace the J55 casing with a specification of 177.8 mm×8.05 mm for cementing during the exploitation of a water well.The J55 casing with a specification of 177.8 mm×6.91 mm fractured during the well drilling process.The macroscopic observation,chemical composition analysis,mechanical property test,metallographic examination,scanning electron microscopy analysis and other methods were used to analyze the causes of casing fracture.The results show that the matrix structure of the fractured J55 casing sample was pearlite plus reticular ferrite.There was a serious mixed crystal phenomenon near the fracture,and there were small cracks on the outer surface of the steel pipe at the fracture.In the process of over-design and use,the tension and torsion force of the steel pipe reached the limit value that the steel pipe section could actually bear.At the same time,the small cracks on the outer surface of the steel pipe became the source of crack initiation.Under the action of external force,the cracks propagated along the coarse grains to the inner surface,which eventually led to the fracture of the casing.
