Characteristics of cardiopulmonary exercise testing in coronary artery disease patients stratified with different OPT-CAD scores
Objective To explore the characteristics of cardiopulmonary exercise testing(CPET)related indexes in patients with coro-nary heart disease(CAD)stratified by optimal antiplatelet therapy for Chinese patients with coronary artery disease(OPT-CAD)score.Methods A total of 1 294 CAD patients who received CPET in General Hospital of Northern Theater Command from January 2017 to January 2021 were selected as the study subjects.According to the OPT-CAD score, the patients were divided into low-risk group(0-90 points;n =945)and intermediate and high-risk group(score≥91;n =349).CPET related indexes were recorded and compared between the two groups. Results There were significant differences among the two groups in terms of peak heart rate, peak oxygen up-take,peak oxygen uptake per kilogram, maximum minute ventilation, oxygen ventilation equivalent, carbon dioxide ventilation equiva-lent,carbon dioxide ventilation equivalent slope, respiratory reserve,warm-up time(P<0.05).Conclusion There are significant differences in CPET parameters among CAD patients stratified by OPT-CAD score.CAD patients with low-risk OPT-CAD scores have better cardiopulmonary function.
