Association between chemokine CCL19 3′UTR rs2227302 single nucleotide polymorphism and occurrence of acute myocardi-al infarction
Objective To analyze the association between chemokine CCL19 3′UTR rs2227302 single nucleotide polymorphism and the occurrence of acute myocardial infarction. Methods A total of 135 patients with acute myocardial infarction admitted from March 2009 to September 2011 in the General Hospital of Northern Theater Command were included in the infarction group. In addition,113 controls with negative coronary angiography were included in the normal group. The general clinical data, genotype distribution frequen-cy and CCL19 expression level of the two groups were compared, and the risk factors of acute myocardial infarction were analyzed by Logistic regression. Results The proportion of men, hypertension, smoking and body mass index, total cholesterol, triglyceride, low density lipoprotein cholesterol in infarction group were higher than those in normal group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).There were significant differences in the distribution frequency of C and T alleles between normal group and infarction group(P<0.05).The T allele of CCL19 3′UTR rs2227302 was an independent risk factor for acute myocardial infarction(P<0.05).The ex-pression level of CCL19 in infarction group was higher than that in normal group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).In both normal group and infarction group, the expression level of CCL19 in TT+CT genotype carriers was higher than that in CC+CT genotype carriers, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The expression level of CCL19 in plasma is increased in patients with acute myocardial infarction, and the T allele of CCL19 3′UTR rs2227302 single nucleotide poly-morphic site may be a risk factor for acute myocardial infarction.
