Bibliometric analysis of robotic application in hip arthroplasty based on CiteSpace
Objective To measure and visualized analysis the literature on application of robot in hip arthroplasty based on CiteSpace software,in order to provide some ideas and references for researchers in the field of hip replacement with robots in the future. Methods Literature on the use of robots in hip replacement was searched from the Web of Science core collection database between January 1995 and December 2023.Excel 2019 was used to integrate the year data of the included literatures and make a descriptive a-nalysis of the chronological distribution.CiteSpace 6.3.2 software was used to analyze the countries and regions, institutions, authors, journals and co-citations of the included literatures, and keyword co-occurrence,clustering and emergence analysis were carried out. Results A total of 343 relevant papers were obtained, and the number of papers published on the application of robots in hip replace-ment from 1995 to 2023 showed an overall increasing trend. The top three countries with the most publications were the United States(138),the United Kingdom(39),and China(38).The institution with the highest number of publications was the University of London(UK,17).The authors with the most publications were Domb,Benjamin G(16).The most frequently cited journal was Clin Orthop Relat R.The most frequently cited literature was Robotics in Arthroplasty:A Comprehensive Review.Keyword clustering could be divided into three categories, among which, cluster 1 mainly included keywords related to surgical analysis system review, traditional operation, cement removal, new approach, etc. The keywords included in cluster 2 was a series of preoperative and postoperative issues, including femoral cavity, safety configuration, clinical accurate assessment, postoperative situation and technical support. The keywords included in cluster 3 was mainly anatomy-based registration problems. The burst keywords showed that the research in this field in re-cent years was mainly focused on dislocation, risk, renovation and so on.Conclusion The research on the use of robots in hip arthro-plasty is on the rise in general.Dislocation, risk and revision are the research hotspots in this field, and also the future research trends.
