The research status and hotspot analysis of cardiac conduction system pacing
Objective By using bibliometric methods, this study analyzes the current research status and hotspots in cardiac conduc-tion system pacing(CSP).Methods The study conducted a thematic field search in the Web of Science core collection database.U-sing bibliometric methods and CiteSpace software, the retrieved literature was subjected to visual analysis, including general informa-tion,keyword co-occurrence,keyword timeline, and keyword burst analysis. Results A total of 3 687 documents were included in the analysis, revealing that the annual number of publications in this field had been increasing since 2017,peaking in 2023 with 368 publi-cations.The top3 countries in the number of published articles were the United States(1 339 articles, center degree 0.29),China(525 articles, center degree 0.10)and Italy(299 articles, center degree 0.04).Among the literatures analyzed so far,the one that had been cited the most was"A beginner's guide to permanent left bundle branch pacing",with a total citation frequency of 306 times. This paper was published by Huang W et al.High frequency keywords in this field were cardiac resynchronization therapy(896 times),heart failure(890 times),bundle branch block(595 times),etc. The results showed that the top 3 positions were dilated cardiomyopathy, conduction system pacing, and left bundle branch pacing, and the emergent intensity values were 70.08,62.13,and 56.93,respectively.At present, the new hot spot was the research of CSP in the field of heart failure. Conclusion In recent years, the CSP field has developed rapidly, with a continuous increase in publication volume.Bibliometric visual analysis intuitively demonstrates the hotspots and frontiers in the CSP field, providing references for future research.
