Research on a new technology for preparing epichlorohydrin by cyclization of dichloropropanol under high gravity
Theoretical research was conducted on the preparation of epichlorohydrin by cyclization reaction of dichloropropanol, and the supergravity enhanced reaction technology was applied to pilot experiments. The supergravity enhanced reaction technology was coupled with a cyclization tower, and a suspension of calcium hydroxide with a mass fraction of 20%was prepared by adding calcium chloride.Dichloropropanol cyclization reaction was conducted when the mass fraction of calcium chloride reached 20%.Under the optimized process conditions, the calcium chloride solution in the cyclization tower contained calcium chloride of mass fraction about 26%,with the COD below 10 g/L,and the reaction effect was ideal. In addition, due to the increase in calcium chloride concentration in the cyclization tower, the steam consumption of the device reduced, the goal of energy conservation and consumption reduction was achieved.
