The harm of silicon dioxide to ion-exchange membranes in brine electrolysis systems was analyzed.The effects of factors such as pH value,reaction temperature,settling time,and coagulant on the silicon dioxide content in primary brine were studied.The process technology conditions for reducing the silica content in brine were determined.
