The influence of caustic soda solution reflux rate in the first-effect evaporator on steam consumption
During the evaporation of caustic soda solution,a portion of the caustic soda solution flowing out of the evaporator is circulated back to the evaporator in order to reduce steam consumption. The article investigates the effect of different circulating reflux rates on steam consumption during the evaporation process of the first-effect evaporator. The results shows that when the ratio of 32%alkali solution addition to 43.5%alkali solution reflux is 2∶3,the steam consumption is the lowest.
