Based on the transitivity analysis of corpus collected from China Daily on China's response to climate change,the research shows that China Daily,from the point of sustainable development and China's stance,constructs and conveys China as a big country that pioneers the fight against climate change,promotes cooperation on climate governance and leads the construction of the international climate order mainly through material,relational,mental and verbal process.Such reports of China Daily spread China's idea of climate governance and give well-founded response to remarks that disparage and dispraise China,helping China gain the full recognition and well-meaning understanding from the international community and win friendly international reputation on climate change.
