The Indicator System of Building an Age-Friendly Society in China
China has entered an ageing society,and building an age-friendly society has become an inherent and urgent task for China's social development,as well as a concrete action plan for implementing its national strategy of actively responding to population ageing.From the perspective of spatial characteristics of older people's daily lives,the content and the corresponding indicator system of an age-friendly society were developed from two aspects,namely,the renovation of age-friendly facilities and the creation of such an atmosphere that were needed in families,communities and the society,in order to provide a tool for evaluating age-friendly society building at present and in the future.This indicator system is only a theoretical framework,and may meet problems such as difficulty in data collection and the need to adjust indicators,and further improvement may be needed in the future.
