Fluorosilicic acid,a by-product of wet-process phosphoric acid,contains a large amount of silica gel and a small amount of fluorosilicate pre-cipitation.When using it to produce sodium fluorosilicate,it not only presents a risk of clogging the system,but also an increase in wastewater discharge.The pilot test uses a plate and frame filter press to filter the silica gel slurry after the fluorosilicic acid is precipitated.The filtrate obtained is clear and transparent,the silica gel filter residue is well formed,and the moisture content is 35%～50%,which is conducive to belt conveyor transportation or bag storage.The silica gel filtration effect in fluorosilicic acid is good and has achieved the expected effect.
