The study of the molecular structure and thermal denaturation of ultrafine kaolin can provide an important scientific basis for its application re-search.The test employs mid-infrared spectroscopy and variable temperature mid-infrared spectroscopy technology to measure the spectral data of the main functional groups of ultrafine kaolin structure. The test results show that the infrared absorption peaks of the main functional groups of ultrafine kaolin—OH,Si—O,Al—OH mainly have four vibration modes;and the increase in temperature will strengthen the association of hydrogen bonds between free hydroxyl molecules, and the frequency of the Si—O absorption peak will be significantly red-shifted,and there is no regular change in other functional groups.
