Phosphogypsum-based plastering mortar takes an important share in the industry, but there is a lack of relevant research on carbon emissions throughout the life cycle. The carbon emission calculation method is presented, and the carbon emissions and distribution of phosphogypsum-based plaster-ing mortar throughout the life cycle are analyzed based on the actual production formulation. The research findings show that carbon(CO2)emissions in the raw material production stage account for 76.19%,which is the main source of carbon emissions of phosphogypsum-based plastering mortar. It is be-lieved that the use of bulk solid waste phosphogypsum to prepare high-performance products is a good way to achieve low-carbon energy conservation and emission reduction in the construction industry, and it is proposed to formulate industry standards for the control of carbon emissions of plastering mortar materials,in order to help achieving the"carbon peak and carbon neutrality"goal of China.
