The Practical Achievements,Influencing Factors,and Optimization Paths of the Political Construction of the Communist Party of China in the New Era
The political construction of the Party holds a fundamental position in the overall layout of Party building in the new era,and its effectiveness is of foundational,fundamental,and strategic significance in enhancing the quality of Party building.Findings from questionnaire surveys and in-depth interviews indicate that remarkable achievements have been made in the Party's political construc-tion in the new era.The results of structural equation modeling analysis reveals that optimizing institutional design,improving the super-visory system,and enhancing discipline rigidity have significant positive impacts on the effectiveness of the Partys political construction.Moreover,there are notable positive interrelationships among optimizing institutional design and improving the supervisory system,opti-mizing institutional design and enhancing discipline rigidity,as well as improving the supervisory system and enhancing discipline rigidi-ty.Nevertheless,the Party's political construction still confronts formidable challenges,including redundancy and overlap in the inspec-tion and evaluation system for implementing central policies,unclear definitions and governance standards for factionalism,inadequate professional oversight methods for"first-in-command"officials,and ineffective implementation of supervisory system.In the new era and on the new journey,it is imperative to consistently adhere to the concept of whole-cycle management,synergistically advancing in-stitutional reform,supervisory constraints,and disciplinary punishments,thereby forming a comprehensive closed loop for the Party's political construction to continuously enhance its effectiveness.
