Wandering Between"Lying Flat"and"Striving Hard":An Examination of the Life of the New Generation of Rural Teachers
At present,the"45-degree life"trend in China has aroused a heated discussion.How to understand this trend and guide the new generation of rural teachers to strive hard has become an important research topic.The qualitative research method can be used to portrait the state of a"45-degree life"of the new generation of rural teachers,and the"push and pull model"can be adopted to explore the reasons behind it.Research has found that due to the scarcity of material resources and lack of developmental resources and poor emotional resources,the new generation of rural teachers are frustrated,and their ambition of"striving hard"is fading,so"going to seed"or"lying flat"has become their silent resistance strategy.However,their inner sense of responsibility and the harmonious group atmosphere lead them to face the reality that"the road ahead is dangerous and difficult",and continue to strive forward.In the"push-pull"tension,the state of a"45-degree life"of the new generation of rural teachers lies between"loftiness and mediocrity","change and constancy",as well as"persistence and escape".
