Political Economy Analysis on the Sales Efforts of Monopoly Capital:Exploration on the Sales Puzzle of China's Platform Economy
The political economy analysis of the sales efforts of monopoly capital is helpful to further understand the new changes of contemporary capitalism,and can provide reference for the positive interaction between production and consumption under the conditions of socialist market economy.Paul A.Baran and Paul M.Sweezy,representatives of American radical political economics,believe that sales efforts are an important change from competitive capitalism to monopoly capitalism.Sales efforts reflect the inversion of the relationship between production and consumption of monopoly capital,the irrationality of the income structure and the product structure in capitalist society,and the unhealthy"American lifestyle"and consumerist values.Under the conditions of China's socialist market economy,some capitals are also inevitably trapped in sales efforts in their participation in market competition,such as false propaganda of platform economy,high sales expenses of enterprises,consumption chaos and waste of resources.In this regard,China should promote the healthy and sustainable development of its platform economy with the aim of meeting people's needs for a better life.
