On Common Prosperity from the Perspective of Equal Value
Equality is the value pursuit of human society.There are two theoretical paradigms to promote the realization of equal value:deontology and teleology.Common prosperity contains both the goal value of achieving equality and the requirements of eliminating the polarization between the rich and the poor,the inequality between urban and rural areas,and the insufficient development of material life and spiritual life,which points to the"good purpose"and shows the teleological orientation.After the founding of the People's Republic of China,the Communist Party of China led the people to establish the basic socialist system,which provided not only the basis of ownership for common prosperity,but also an institutional guarantee for promoting the realization of equal value.In the new era,guided by the promotion of the realization of equal value,we should firmly promote the realization of common prosperity by adhering to the public ownership that guarantees the realization of equal value,correctly handling the relationship between efficiency and fairness,and building a system to eliminate income inequality.
