Deepening reform comprehensively is the fundamental driving force for Chinese-style modernization,as well as a broad and profound social revolution.At the crucial stage of advancing Chinese modernization,the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China(CPC)clearly pointed out the six major principles for further deepening reform comprehensively.They are:upholding the Party's overall leadership,adhering to a people-centered approach,upholding fundamental principles and breaking new ground,strengthening institutional building as our main task,staying committed to law-based governance on all fronts,and applying systems thinking.These major principles are closely connected as an organic whole and inherently follow the world outlook and methodology of dialectical materialism and historical materialism,functioning as the fundamental guarantee,value standpoint,driving force,strategic guideline,legal safeguard and scientific method for further deepening reform.They also indicate that CPC's understanding of the law of deepening reform comprehensively reaches a new height.We must stick to them as the guiding principles during a new journey of further deepening reform comprehensively to advance Chinese modernization.
