Abstract
Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,General Secretary Xi Jinping,from the strategic height of national development and party building,and with the devotion to the great dream of national rejuvenation,has developed important expositions on strengthening the Party's discipline to meet the change of global situation and the challenge of the party in leading China's development.The theoretical sources of these expositions include:Marx's and Lenin's ideas on,and Chinese Communists'theories about discipline construction,as well as profound traditional Chinese culture and legal wisdom centered on self-discipline.General Secretary Xi's expositions scientifically address the significant theoretical and practical issues in the new era,that is,the importance and the meaning of,and the way to strengthening the Party's discipline.These expositions enrich and develop Marx's theories about party building.To put them into practice,we must take them as the fundamental guide in the education of party members,ensuring that each member should learn,know,understand and follow the disciplines,thereby to enhance the Party members'awareness of adhering to the Party's constitution,regulations,and disciplines,and to ensure the seriousness and authority of the Party's discipline.
