Composting kitchen waste is an important way to treat and dispose of kitchen waste as a resource.In this study,the reduction effect of kitchen waste composting was analyzed by constructing the aerobic composting and fine screening engineering process,and the quality characteristics of kitchen waste composting products were evaluated.The results showed that the kitchen waste compost had a good reduction effect,and the average reduction rate was 69.2%.The organic matter mass fraction,total nutrient mass fraction,and seed germination index of compost products(<6 mm)were 47.8%,7.9%and 71.2%,respectively,which were superior to the standard of Organic Fertilizer(NY/T 525-2021).The results of this study could provide a technical reference for resource utilization and the treatment of kitchen waste.
