Porous Ti/SnO2-Sb-Ni electrodes were prepared by sol-gel method, and their electrocatalytic ozonation performance was investigated. The surface morphology and structure of the electrode coating were characterized by SEM and XRD.The effects of different electrode matrix conditions on ozone production by electrocatalysis were investigated. The results show that the porous Ti/SnO2-Sb-Ni electrode surface presents a dense coarse granular structure. When the molar ratio of Sn∶Sb∶Ni in electrode coating is 500∶8∶5 and the pore size of titanium foam matrix is 20 μ m,the electrode has the best electrocatalytic ozone production performance. The porous Ti/SnO2-Sb-Ni electrode in this paper can provide support for the research and application of novel electrochemical ozone generation technology.
