Water extraction method and alkali extraction method were used to extract the volatile phenol in different types of soil,the two pretreatment methods were compared.As shown on the results,the detection limit,precision and recovery in this two methods has shown difference.The alkali extraction method has higher recovery,making it more suitable for the pretreatment of the daily determination of volatile phenols in soil.
