The sludge from urban sewage treatment plants was used as raw material and appropriate clay was added, which was roasted at 800 ℃ and 900 ℃ with three types of straw, namely sugarcane bagasse powder, rice straw powder, and corn straw powder, respectively,to prepare different proportions of ceramic pellets. The water absorption rate and heavy metal cadmium adsorption efficiency of the ceramic pellets were studied. The results showed that straw sludge ceramic particles had the best water absorption,as the proportion of sludge increased, the water absorption rate showed a decreasing trend. The ceramic particles calcined at 800 ℃ were slightly better than those at 900 ℃;when the sampling dose of the prepared ceramic particles is 0.5 g,the set target heavy metal cadmium can be more completely adsorbed, and the adsorption efficiency of rice straw sludge ceramic particles is relatively stable. The calcination temperature and sludge ratio have little effect on the adsorption efficiency of heavy metal cadmium.
