With the development of social economy and the proposal of building a new power system during the 14th Five Year Plan period, the number of 500 kV substations is constantly increasing, and the environmental problems caused by this are also increasingly needing attention. Therefore,it is necessary to adopt scientific methods to predict the acoustic environmental impacts generated by 500 kV substations.Based on the prediction results, reasonable and feasible noise prevention and control measures are taken to reduce the impacts on the surrounding population.Based on the Cadna/A software, the current noise monitoring and noise prediction of a 500 kV substation in the South after renovation and expansion are carried out.The prediction results after adopting noise prevention and control measures are analyzed and evaluated, providing reference basis for relevant units.
