With the promotion of garbage classification work in Xiamen city,the composition of kitchen waste has changed.Grasping the physical and chemical characteristics of kitchen waste and its seasonal changes can provide basic data for the process selection of new projects,and provide a basis for the process adjustment of the existing projects,in order to realize the fine management of kitchen waste projects and the efficient operation of treatment facilities.On the basis of investigating the seasonal composition changes of kitchen waste in Xiamen city,Fujian Province,this paper tests the physical composition,total solid content(TS),C/N ratio and oil content of kitchen waste,and analyzes the influence on some indexes of dry anaerobic digestion.The results show that the main component of kitchen waste is perishable waste with the average value of 77.76%;the total solid content(TS)is low with the average value of 28.68%.At the same time,the oil content of kitchen waste in Xiamen is high,and the C/N index is low,especially in the winter and spring when the temperature is low,the average value is 15.17%.The fluctuation of the nature of kitchen waste will affect the operation stability of the dry anaerobic digestion unit,lead to the reduction of biogas yield,the risk of acidification,and affect the project benefit.
