Taking Tongling City in Anhui Province as an example,the water resources ecological footprint method was used to analyze the water resources situation in Tongling from 2016 to 2021.The result shows that from 2016 to 2021,Tongling per capita water resources ecological footprint and ecological footprint of water resources of 10 000 yuan GDP decreased annually during the research period,there is no ecological deficit,the overall water environment and ecology is in a state of sustainable utilization,and the utilization efficiency of water resources has been steadily improved in recent years.
