A newly built comprehensive hospital contains an infectious disease outpatient department, and its medical wastewater is complex and contains a large amount of pathogenic microorganisms and drug pollutants. To prevent secondary pollution, the medical wastewater generated should be controlled and separated at the source, and classified collection, sewage separation, and quality treatment should be implemented.Special medical wastewater and infectious disease medical wastewater should be separately collected and treated. The sewage treatment plant adopts a secondary biochemical treatment process mainly consisting of"membrane bioreactor+ultraviolet disinfection",which can effectively remove organic matter, fecal coliform bacteria, various bacteria, etc.in medical wastewater. The average concentrations of CODCr,BOD5,SS,and ammonia nitrogen in the effluent are 46.2 mg/L,16.8 mg/L,17.3 mg/L,16.4 mg/L,respectively.The fecal coliform bacteria are 78 MPN/L,and intestinal pathogenic bacteria, enteroviruses, and other viruses have not been detected,The effluent quality meets the relevant discharge standards in the GB 18466-2005 Water Pollutant Discharge Standards for Medical Institutions.
