The treatment of low C/N ratio high-concentration nitrate wastewater is a promising but challenging research topic.Electrochemical reduction coupled anaerobic ammonia oxidation is a highly potential wastewater denitrogenation technology, which combined the two denitrogenation technologies to make up for the defects of insufficient reaction substrates of NO2--N and NH4+-N in anaerobic ammonia oxidation, and also makes up for the shortcomings of the high cost of electrochemistry. In this study,Cu-Ag-Co electrodes were prepared by two-step electrodeposition, and the electrochemical reduction coupled with anaerobic ammonia oxidation process was successfully used to treat low C/N ratio and high concentration nitrate wastewater. The study showed that the nitrite nitrogen and ammonia nitrogen generation were 180.2 mg/L and 173.2 mg/L,respectively,at a current density of 10 mA/cm2 and an initial pH of 7.Subsequently,it entered the anaerobic ammonia oxidation unit for deep treatment, and the final nitrate nitrogen removal rate was 82.6%.
