Based on the monitoring results of surface water sections in the Puhe river basin of Shenyang City during the 13th Five Year Plan period,this study compares the situation during the 12th Five Year Plan period from the aspects of water quality categories,comprehensive pollution index,main monitoring indicators exceeding and changing,and biological indicators characterization.The study comprehensively analyzes the changes in water environment quality in Puhe river in Shenyang City during the 13th Five Year Plan period,in order to provide technical support for the comprehensive treatment of Puhe River pollution.The analysis shows that during the 13th Five Year Plan period,the water quality of Puhe River has significantly improved,with the main pollution indicators being ammonia nitrogen,total phosphorus,and five-day biochemical oxygen demand,showing an overall downward trend,and the comprehensive pollution index has decreased significantly.
