To investigate the characteristics of volatile organic compound(VOCs)pollution in a certain chemical industrial park in Liaoning and strengthen the VOCs control capability in industrial areas, this study analyzed the concentration characteristics and environmental impacts of observation data from December 2021 to February 2022 and June 2022 to August 2022.A positive matrix factorization(PMF)model was used to investigate the sources of VOCs.The results indicate that the average concentrations of TVOCs were(39.02±20.25)nmol/mol(winter)and(117.07±64.84)nmol/mol(summer),respectively,ethylene(24.19 nmol/mol)and propylene(7.33 nmol/mol)were the species with the highest contribution rates in winter and summer.PMF results showed that industrial sources were the main contributor during the observation period, with contribution in both winter and summer exceeding 50%,and coal combustion sources and volatile oil sources were the pollution sources that required special attention and control.
