Study on the Influence of Different Factors on River Sediment Treated by Freeze-Thaw and Centrifugal Dehydration
River sediment is the sediment of the river, which has the characteristics of high water content, and the high water content is an important factor affecting the effective treatment of river sediment. This study took the sediment of Nujiang bridge section of Xinkai River in Shenyang City as the research object, and analyzed the influences of different factors(freezing time, initial mass of sediment, centrifugal time and centrifugal speed)on the dewatering rate of river sediment and the turbidity of supernatant. The results show that with the increase of freezing time, centrifugal time and centrifugal speed, the dewatering rate of sediment first increases and then remains flat, while the turbidity of supernatant decreases and then remains flat. The initial mass was inversely correlated with the dewatering rate and positively correlated with the turbidity of supernatant. The optimum conditions were obtained:freezing time 5 h,initial mass 60 g,centrifugal time 20 min, centrifugation speed 6 000 r/min.Under these conditions, the dewatering rate of sediment increases from 34.00%to 61.09%,and the turbidity of supernatant decreases from 181.2 NTU to 14.4 NTU.
