Analysis of the theoretical approach for the Civil Code to promote integrated governance of grassroots society under the perspective of Chinese-style modernization
The 20th CPC National Congress proposed to comprehensively promote the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation with Chinese-style modernization,and pointed out the way to achieve the second centenary goal.Different from Western modernization,Chinese-style modernization has its own unique characteristics and needs to be supported by the modernization of the social governance system and governance capacity.The promulgation and implementation of the Civil Code of the People's Republic of China has ushered in a new era of social gov-ernance in China.As a specialized law for adjusting social civil legal relations,the Civil Code occupies a funda-mental position in the civil law system and social governance system.The Civil Code of the People's Republic of China runs through the people-centered thought,absorbs and draws on the beneficial experience of grassroots so-cial governance in the legislation,reflects the full protection of people's rights,has a strong integrated governance feature and has its natural advantages in dealing with more diverse and changeable grassroots social contradic-tions.To give full play to the role of the Civil Code in China's social governance and better promote the modern-ization of the national governance system and governance capacity,it is necessary to make further efforts in many aspects such as improving the Civil Code system itself,improving the external legal environment and public par-ticipation.
