The digitalization of education has placed a new demand on the smart teaching ability of university teachers.By using the method of inductive analysis,the current situation of teaching ability training for university teachers and the new requirements of smart teaching for teachers are analyzed.It is proposed that,it is necessary to optimize and upgrade the existing teacher teaching ability training system,build a"three levels,four stages,six dimensions and five combinations"university teacher teaching ability training system that is in line with the background of smart teaching,so as to continuously improve the teaching ability of university teachers in the context of digitalization of education and the new form of intelligent teaching,and promote smart teaching to better serve higher education and teaching.
