Experimental Study on Temperature of Two Dimensional Ultrasonic Vibration Turning of Aluminum Alloy Thin-walled Pipe Fittings
In order to investigate the effect of two-dimensional ultrasonic vibration on the turning temperature of 6061 aluminum alloy thin-walled pipe fittings,a two-dimensional ultrasonic vibration turning thermal model was established. The outer surface of 6061 aluminum alloy cylinder was machined by using independently developed turning tools, and the variation of cutting temperature with cutting parameters and ultrasonic amplitude during the machining process was studied. The results show that the cutting temperature of two-dimensional ultrasonic vibration turning 6061 aluminum alloy cylinder is lower than that of ordinary turning, and the overall cutting temperature shows a decreasing trend with the increase of cutting depth, feed rate, and ultrasonic amplitude.
