Noise Test of Vehicle Generator and Simulation Analysis
In view of the noise source problem of the vehicle claw pole generator, the noise source is identified based on noise test and simulation.Firstly, the claw pole generator is tested with empty and load noise, and the order analysis method is used to analyze the generator in empty and load conditions. Then, the modal simulation of the generator structural components in the free state is carried out,and the first 3 mode shapes and natural frequencies of the front and rear end covers and stators are obtained by making equivalent assumptions about the model structure. Finally,a comparative analysis is conducted based on the noise test and simulation results. The results show that the generator produces electromagnetic noise at low and medium speeds, mainly air noise at high speeds, and the front and rear covers,as well as the stator and generator, generate structural resonance and emit noise during operation.
