Application of HAZOP Analysis in Design Stage of Hydrogen Purification Process Unit
HAZOP(Hazard and Operability analysis)is a risk analysis method for qualitative analysis of hazards.Hazop analysis is necessary for petrochemical plant because of its high hazard coefficient due to its material characteristics.Through the HAZOP analysis of the device, identifying the potential hazards of the device, and combining the risk assessment and HAZOP(hazard and operability analysis),a series of measures can be developed to improve the safety and reliability of the device operation,so as to ensure the safety of life and property in production and use.Taking the hydrogen purification unit of a petrochemical company as an example,HAZOP analysis was carried out to optimize the process flow,so as to ensure the long-term reliable and stable operation of the unit. The results show that HAZOP analysis can play a huge role in the safety management of petrochemical plants, and can provide basis for safety managers.
