Application and Corrosion Resistance of Flexible Ceramic Coatings in Potassium Salt Production Equipments
During the development of salt lake resources,the corrosion of metal materials has caused great harm to the safe operation of equipment and the continuous and stable operation of production.Therefore,corrosion protection of equipment is one of the basic guarantees for the exploitation of salt lake resources.In this paper,the flexible ceramic coating which can be applied to the harsh working conditions of salt lake was developed with ceramic particles as the main filler and modified epoxy resin as the film forming material,and its basic physical mechanical properties and corrosion resistance were studied.The results showed that the flexible ceramic coating had good wear resistance,the adhesion on the sandblasted steel surface could reach 20.3 MPa,and the comprehensive mechanical properties were excellent.The coating had good resistance to chemical solvents.At room temperature,the coating surface did not change after soaking in 10%NaCl solution and 10%NaOH solution for 30 d.The coating was discolored slightly after soaking in 30%H2SO4 solution for 30 d,and bubbled after soaking in 10%HCl solution for 30 d.It can be applied to the inner protection coating of underflow pump of thickener in hot solution production of potassium chloride,which can effectively improve the service life of equipment.
