Research Progress in Separation of Acetone Methanol Azeotropic System by Ionic Liquids
Acetone and methanol are widely used in industry. The two easily form an azeotropic mixture at 0.1 MPa,and it is difficult to separate the two using ordinary distillation methods.Extractive distillation techniques using ionic liquids as extractant are commonly used to separate azeotropic systems.Ionic liquids with advantages such as low toxicity,no pollution, strong design ability, and easy recycling have gained recognition and attention from the industry. In this paper, the research results of ionic liquids used in acetone methanol azeotropic systems in recent years were summarized.
