Research Progress in Degradation of Organic Wastewater by Activated Persulfate of Carbon Materials
In recent years,the removal of organic pollutants from water based on advanced persulfate oxidation technology has received extensive attention,and the exploration of efficient,green and economical new activation technologies and activation materials has become a research hotspot.Due to high utilization rate,acid and alkali resistance,ultra-high pore capacity and large specific surface area,carbon materials show unique advantages in activating persulfate to degrade organic wastewater,and are expected to become a new generation of green catalysts.In this article,the recent research progress of various carbonaceous materials in the degradation of organic wastewater by activated persulfate was reviewed,including activated carbon,carbon nanotubes,graphene,surface chemical modified carbon materials,and atom-doped modified carbon materials.The problems and challenges faced by this technology and the future research direction were proposed.
