Study on Solidification Property of Loess with Magnesium and Calcium Acrylate Composite Solution
Because natural loess is easy to collapse, easy to erosion, poor water resistance, collapsibility and other problems,it cannot meet the requirements of construction. Therefore, the loess is modified to make the natural loess reach the construction standard.Because the acrylate solution will produce a series of chemical reactions in the process of curing, thus forming insoluble polymer gel,the magnesium/calcium acrylate mixed solution(hereinafter referred to as acrylate mixed solution)is selected as the curing agent for loess modification. In this paper, the preparation of acrylate mixed solution with different proportions, the performance test of the cured product, the influence of the proportion of acrylate mixed solution on the water absorption and hydrostatic disintegration of loess cured product, the unconfined compressive strength test of loess cured product and the influence of curing age on the compressive strength were studied. The experimental results showed that the water resistance and compressive strength of natural loess were obviously improved after curing with acrylic salt mixture solution, and the higher the proportion, the better the curing effect and water resistance. At the same time, the unconfined compressive strength reached the maximum when the ratio of acrylic salt solution was 4∶1.The maximum compressive strength was reached at 60 d curing.
